"First stayed here in the 70's when truly was a Florida fish camp. Nice to see how well the place has been renovated. Enjoyed my stay greatly. Easy bike ride to down town and great view of the bayou."

"We've driven right past this place many times before, always on our way to some other destination. This time, we just wanted a couple days of relaxed boating on a river. What a great surprise this was! This little motel is located right on the water. There is a nice county-owned boat ramp right across the street. The motel was quiet and peaceful, despite being next to the highway. The bar and restaurant were very good. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. After the great time we had on the Rainbow and Withlacoochee rivers, and the pleasant stay at the Gator Den Motel, we will definitely be back."

"Good for the price and a few hours of sleep. Everything was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and good pressure. The lady at check in was super nice and quick. The price was great. Only reason for 4 stars is a roach I encountered."

"We had an awesome time. We brought our boat so being right on the water was very convenient. There’s a marina with a boat launch two doors down which was also very convenient. We caught some nice fish and scallops. It’s very quiet and laid back. We loved it. We are looking forward to staying there again."
