Plenty of room for boat and trailer on the property. The “boat launch” is for smaller boats or canoes, not a big deal cause there are several boat ramps close by I had a 18 foot jon boat that navigated the canal fine you might have trouble with boats over 21 foot getting to the dock as the canal is very narrow. Our 14’ jon boat was a bit too big for the on property launch, but navigated the canals with ease. We launched at the nearby public boat ramp and moored to the dock at the property during our stay. We kayaked every day right from the boat ramp located on the property. Access to the water was extremely easy. We loved the wooden swing located onsite with a wonderful view of the waterways. This is our second visit to this lovely town and home. This home has everything you need. They make it feel like a home away from home. It was very clean and stocked with all the necessities (and then some!) My son enjoyed fishing off the dock and my daughter and I enjoyed kayaking in the canal. The only reason I removed a star for the accuracy of listing was because it had a hot tub in the original listing however apparently this was a VBRO error and there in fact was not a hot tub on the property. ##### Erika H. We loved the ability to access to launch one of the well maintained canoes or kayaks. Clara has created several outdoor sitting areas on her 1.5 acre property to relax and observe. The house is sparkling clean, cleanest rental we have ever stayed in and well stocked. Every room is very cozy, including the bed. Clara really paid attention to every detail making our stay both easy and comfortable. Clara is a wonderful host and most responsive. Would love to stay again but longer next time! ##### Debbie S. Clara was very thoughtful and provided all things needed to enjoy the wonderful nature that crystal river offers. The house was beautifully decorated and clean. The kayaks and canoes were easily accessible with a private boat launch. The dock was used by the kiddos to cast a fishing line. Our youngest had a blast catching crabs and lizards. We didnt see any gators, but at night we could hear all the nature come to life. The busy city and beaches can be overstimulating, so this was a nice pause before we continued our adventures in Orlando. We hope to return in the near future and highly recommend this destination to those looking for the old Florida style feels. ##### Ranae M. We wanted to take our 7 yr old Grandson on a fishing trip and this was perfect as boats and paddles were provided. The property extends to a point at an inlet where fish seem to congregate. We caught red drum, mangrove snapper, catfish, and a flounder without trying very hard. The house was very cozy and accommodating with a television in each room. I was happy to see a full size coffee maker as well as a one cup. Plenty of dishes etc. We basically had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Homasassa Wildlife refuge was a nice day trip also, and we enjoyed the beach at Fort Island on another day. Wonderful area off the beaten path. ##### Renee T. This property comes with everything you could want in a secluded, quiet vacation property with room to breathe. The owners have thought of, and provided, just about anything you could want. The kayaks/canoes are top quality. Fishing rod and all equipment provided, including an anchor. Great air conditioning. The private dock on the canal is a lovely spot to birdwatch or just watch nature pass by and fish. Kitchen is stocked with TONS of equipment/extras. The complimentary sunscreen/bug spray was HUGE to get us by before we were able to buy some of our own, since we couldn't bring our own on the flight. Very prompt response from the owner when I had a very small issue that was no fault of theirs or the property, which occurred late in the evening. Kindly helped us resolve it in less than a minute. We enjoyed the space for a couple's get away and it was wonderful, but there was plenty more room. I could imagine this to be a wonderful place for a friends getaway or double couples retreat! The game room and its MANY games leaves \*so much room for activities!\* TDLR: Nature, kayaking, birding, and fishing enthusiasts: If you want a beautiful, quiet, secluded, and comfortable property that is thoughtfully and totally stocked with amenities, this clean spot is the one for you. ##### Colleen C. The past couple of years we had been staying at another place, only a few blocks away. But, the host for whatever reason would not put in a sufficient air conditioner. So we wrote that place off, but still wanted to stay in the area. This place was perfect. We basically just go fishing everyday so some of the things I look for and need are different than most. Air conditioning was great. Three units. They have multiple exterior outlets…that work. Two outsides hoses that were both high quality. Plenty of parking and it was pretty easy to turn around in there with the boat hooked up. Accurate listing, honest host, easy communication. Has all the supplies you need and ones you didn’t know you needed. The place is just beautiful. Everything is high quality from the kitchen appliances to the kayaks. The birds sang a symphony every morning for me. There is a nice place to sit and have a fire in the fire pit. At the point there is excellent fishing a hungry spot for catching fish. We caught red fish and catfish and they were all keepers. We cooked up the 2 redfish and they are really good eating. She even has crab traps to try. You can kayak to your heart’s content. There is so many places to explore right there at the place. She has great cellphones reception and big tv’s to watch with free Netflix and lots more. The airconditioner worked great. This place is the best place we have stayed in a verbo also the best area as well. She has 2 beds one is softer than the other so which ever you like she has it. Great communication and keeping us informed. Really easy to find the place. My only suggestion is you must try to go to silver springs through discovery kayak. We saw monkeys manatees alligators and lots of birds. That was awesome. Wouldn’t recommend the airport trip we took definitely not worth the money at all. We will be back next year and hopefully every year back to this place and stay here. We just loved it here so much. It was very hard for us to leave to do an excursion because there was so much to do here with the fishing and lots. ##### Jennifer F.
