"The hotel was beautiful. The pool was lovely. We had a great stay!"

"I was disappointed when room wasn’t available at the 4pm check in time. The lobby and room had a definite musty/mildew smell. Window in room had black areas on the glass, could hardly see through the clouded glass. Cobwebs on ceiling, air return filter was gray with dust and very over due for change. Doors were spotted with various colored remains from previous guests. HVAC registers and sprinkler systems were excessively rusted. They ran out of coffee during morning continental breakfast. Just not what I was expecting from previous reviews, especially from website description. Positive was linens were clean. Staff provided towels so we could use the pool before check in. I felt like I was sold a room that wasn’t aware of its state in reality. "

"It doesn't look so bad from outside. Then you walk in the lobby and are hit with an overpowering air freshener smell- what are they trying to cover up? The front desk guy was friendly and nice. Got to the rooms (poolside was nice) and the sheets had hair and dirt all over them, floors were far from clean, bathroom and tub needs a good scrub with some bleach. Some towels were crisp and white, some were incredibly dingy. They were haphazardly hung on the bar- you can just tell the housekeeping staff doesn't care. Air conditioner was nice and cold but very noisy every time it turned on. Pretty sure there was blood on the sitting chair in the room. Noisy neighbors. Sketchy people in parking lot. Pool area was nice but water was chilly. Nice to have checkout at 11. Overall I would definitely spend a little more and stay elsewhere next time."

"Nice hotel with an equine theme. The room was spacious and clean. The grounds were well maintained and the staff was helpful and friendly. Only drawback for us was that the bathroom (toilet and shower but the sink was outside) was extremely small. The bathroom fan was very loud, and part of the light switch, so it automatically came on every time the light turned on."

"Checked in after midnight due to travel times. Did not even access the room. Felt VERY unsafe, employee was in the vehicle smoking and had to come inside to help me. NEVER AGAIN! "
