« The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage. »

« We had a wonderful week in this lovely property. The view is just incredible and calming. The house is well equipped and I even managed to get some work done, at the desk facing the ocean. It’s definitely worth taking walks and enjoying the different points of view. We will come back. »

« Logement plus proche du gite que de l'appartement de ce que le prix et les photos laissent présager. Equipement minimaliste (pas d'évier dans le coin cuisine, il faut utiliser le lavabo dans la salle de bain) le soir, douche froide très désagréable après 3 minutes d'eau chaude, couvertures vieilles et ne semblant pas très nettes. Ces désagréments, certains pourront les occulter en appréciant plus la beauté des paysages et la gentillesse de l'hôte. »

« The cabin was great! It was a little further from Acadia than we thought, but worked out fine for our short stay. We knew trash removal was our responsibility but struggled to find somewhere to take it. A local told us about stickers and that trash day was Thursday. Great getaway for a rustic experience. « Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed. Stairs to bedrooms were very steep-ok for able adults, but hazardous for children and others. Enjoyed the accommodations and location. »

« The place met our needs for sleeping/showers etc. Kitchen well equipped if you came to cook. Was disappointed there was no fire pit (does offer chiminea).
