"I stayed at Stone Park from Thursday-Monday. It was nice and a good distance from Bar Harbour and Acadia National Park, without paying the premium of being closer. When we entered the room, I immediately observed dust on the fan above the bed. Also I’m not sure if it was supposed to be like this, but the rooms weren’t cleaned or restocked during our stay at all. It wasn’t that big deal for us as we don’t like someone entering our room while we’re there, but I found it strange. If you want quiet, we heard every step the person above us took, so be prepared for that. Everyone was very friendly and nice there as well. Also having a kitchen is nice for those choosing to stay long term without having to eat out everyday."

"The location was perfect. Very walkable and easy to get in and out of town in a car. The free snacks a drinks were awesome. The staff was very friendly. My main complaint would be the stairs. They were steep and hard to navigate with luggage. Also, a coffeemaker in the room would be nice. It was cold and rainy which made the walk to the office for coffee a little hard."

"I will start with saying I have no idea about the other commenters complaining about the view. We had a beautiful view toward Acadia and Cadillac Mountain. Sure the owner's home is in the sight line but it in no way obscures anything and expecting a property to be built with unobscured views seems pretty selfish given most Vrbo listings are private property that they are renting out.The mini-split right above the bed does blow right on your heads when sleeping and takes some getting used to. Water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low and made for some challenges when rinsing toothbrushes etc. The parking is tight and we had some other folks around during the week and we had to be very careful to use every inch of space to allow each other room. The map the owner provided shows seven cabins and we only had 3-4 occupied while there and we found things challenging for parking so be aware of that. We had a sunrise pass for Cadillac Mountain and emerged to find a vehicle next to ours at 4 AM that was not there the night before and they could have easily boxed us in and we'd have had a major problem. There were places near the road we could have left our car but it can be an issue. Host was friendly. The cabins are all on top of each other and pretty packed. We had no issues with noise but not sure how that would work during warmer times when we might be outside or have had deck door open or something."
