"Excellent hotel close to major highway"
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was perfect (king size). Personally I appreciated the mirror and counter space with makeup mirror outside of the bathroom, that I could use to get ready in the morning. There was also a counter/sink and TV in the bathroom with a jetted tub. So, we ultimately had two spaces to get ready after showering. The bed was extremely comfortable, along with the pillows. That is always a worry when traveling. No need to worry here! The indoor pool and hot tub were really nice (but close at 9 pm). We did swim in the outdoor pool (closes at 10 pm) which was nice, but the outdoor hot tub was like one that sits outside on top of the concrete and just wasn't as nice as the indoor hot tub. The staff and service at the hotel was excellent. We only had the continental breakfast each morning (and it was exactly the same each morning) was good and included in the price of the stay, which was nice. Unfortunately, the spa closed earlier than I could get in there after a day of work, so I didn't get to enjoy that at all. I wish more hotels would offer later appointments, so people can truly enjoy all the hotel has to offer. But, hey, you can't have everything. I would highly recommend the hotel. I heard the restaurant (Cloud 9, i think it is called) is excellent. People I work with that live out there, go to the hotel restaurant for dinner. That says a lot, where there are many other places to go. Keep up the great service, Senator Inn!

"nice"
nice hotel suited our needs for the night. The only complaint I have is when we went to breakfast there was only one person working there that was pleasant and had a conversation with us. The other 2 younger ones were kind of rude not speaking to anyone and kind of pushing their way through he crowd to refill the breakfast supplies

"Hotel Augusta,ME"
My resent stay at the Super 8 in Augusta, ME was very nice over all. The only two things that were not that great, was the internet and cable was lost for a couple hours due to construction right outside and the tub constantly dripped. After we gained back the TV services, the internet connection was unstable. As a result of this connection problem, I was not able to use WIFI on my phone and was booted off internet while on my computer many times through out the day. Staff was great though and apologized even though it was not their fault.

"Clean and Convenient"
Although this hotel shows its age, it is VERY clean. I particularly liked the fact that the comforter was in an easily laundered cotton duvet; I was not afraid to sit on the bed for a change :) I called ahead with a question and discovered an online booking issue. Nancy was very helpful and resolved the issue. This hotel is right next to the highway, near shopping and adjacent to Governor's Restaurant where we got a decent breakfast before heading out.

Expedia booking had a drop-down box which included SENIORS. This was not reflected on check in. I paid $39 extra for the room because Motel 6 could not change the reservation.

"Decent hotel in Waterville"
Hotel was clean and room size was fine. Mini fridge and microwave in room were a plus. Pool area was nice with good sized pool and fitness equipment. Restaurant food was good (we got a $14 credit to use for breakfast between the three of us so it still cost $20) but service was very slow. The first floor, which we walked through to get to the elevator, reeked of cigarette smoke. This can be avoided by parking out back or using the stairs. My biggest complaint was the WIFI. I paid for a hotel rather than camping because I needed WIFI to get some work done. While I could get my phone to connect, my computer would not recognize the free signal. After 20 minutes on hold with the tech support group, the answer that I got was to sit next to the door. This worked to connect but the signal dropped again once I moved back into the room. The promise that they would reset the signal did not seem to be kept as this was an issue both nights I was there. Overall this was a decent hotel and much better than what others in our group experienced at competitors in the area.
