This cozy cabin nestled into a private 6 acre lot with a private pond, hot tub, and endless nature is a great place to take in all that the Finger Lakes has to offer. The house is right between Honeoye and Canadice Lake. It is also just a short drive from the wine/beer trails and very close to multiple hiking/skiing destinations. The Space The house is a cabin chic style cape cod that has been built with modern luxuries in the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes. The beautiful outdoor gathering spaces to take in the natural setting are equipped with a gas fire pit and an ample supply of Adirondack chairs to relax on the patio. There is a gas grill and outdoor eating area that are a perfect place for you and your family and friends to make memories. The 6 person hot tub is a serene place to take in the night sky. The star gazing is unmatched away from the light pollution of the city. The view of the North lawn leads up to our enormous pond that takes up almost an acre of the yard. The pond is immaculate and great for swimming/fishing with a dock on the south shore. SWIM AT OWN RISK. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Stocked with 5 different kinds of fish and almost 20 ft deep in parts this pond is a budding fisherman's dream. Please make sure to catch and release. The first floor of the house is outfitted with multiple gathering areas and two comfortable bedrooms. The large kitchen is perfect for creating wonderful meals for your group and is attached to a dining room with a table for 6 guests. A peninsula with stools that divides the kitchen and the dinning room serves as a great place for people to hang out and snack while others are cooking. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, silverware and anything else you might need to create or enjoy a meal with your guests. The kitchen has all of the appliances you need including a large refrigerator, a dishwasher, a range, a toaster, and a microwave for your use. Around the corner from the kitchen is a comfortable living room equipped with big leather couches, a smart TV, and plenty of reading material. The two bedrooms on the lower level are sheltered from the gathering area and get plenty of natural light. They are close to the downstairs full bathroom that has a bathtub (great for bath time if traveling with kids!) The 2 upstairs bedrooms have queen beds and plenty of closet space for your clothes/belongings. One of the bedrooms has a full bathroom directly attached to it and is stocked with any bathroom supplies that your group may require. Upstairs also has a small office space in case you need to get some work done with a chair and a desk that is fully equipped with supplies! The space is intended and priced for 8 guests. If you wish to bring up to 12 guests, please inquire about additional costs and sleeping arrangements. Outdoor Noise ordinance: 10pm Guest access Guests have full access to the rented house The Barn/ Garage to the West of the house is off limits Please pay attention to the signs behind the pond that indicate that you are trespassing and DO NOT go onto that property. Other things to note Early check in or late check out (pending availability) available as an optional enhancement only, inquire for pricing. Otherwise please respect incoming guests and our cleaning team and be prompt for check out. We do have exterior security cameras for security and your safety. Be sure to register all guests staying/present in the home. VRBO has strict rules about added guests. All additional guests will be billed for! Deep cleaning fee of $500 charged for any unregistered pets. Pets are only allowed when pre registered. Pet fee applies. As a part of check out procedures, guests are responsible for making sure all personal belongings are collected. Host is not responsible for forgotten/left behind items. We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful Finger Lakes retreat! The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, but the real highlight was the beautiful pond. Our kids had an absolute blast swimming every day—it felt like our own private summer camp. My parents are big fans of wild swimming and said this was one of the best ponds they've ever swum in. The water was incredibly soft, like swimming through silk—it left all our skin feeling amazing. We also loved relaxing by the fire pit in the evenings and soaking in the hot tub. We didn't explore the area that much but Naples was great and the view from the overlook of Honeoye Lake nearby was incredible! This year we decided to do something new and are glad we did. We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful, so private and very clean with such nice touches (s'mores ingredients on the counter, Keurig pods and shampoos in the showers). We enjoyed morning coffee and reading out in the yard, an evening hot tub soak and a walk around the property. We took a day trip to Grimes Glen and stopped at hollerhorn distillery which was delicious. We even saw a black bear on the far side of the pond while we were prepping dinner... So cool! Only critique is about the pillows, I don't love foam pillows they hurt my neck but I can always pack my own. The beds were very comfortable and the place was overall very cozy and felt like home, had everything we could have needed and more. Thank you! I'm sure we'll be back! ##### Laurel R. Our boys couldn’t get enough of fishing and swimming in the private lake. Ten minutes away we found zip-lines at Bristol, in Canandaigua theres a dozen great restaurants and breweries that made it a breeze to relax while our four boys spent the days wakeboarding, tubing, charter fishing, and hanging out a one day at “Roseland” a big water park. At the Lower end of that Lake is a little town, Naples, a quaint little town, absolutely beautiful with a handful of great wineries. We tried Inspire & Heron Hill and both were equally amazing. Mill Creek Cafe in Honeoye, has great coffee and their lunch menu is great! Papa Joes in Honeoye makes a pizza the size of a small car. Bass fishing is awesome at Honeoye and I can’t think of anything nicer to say about the people and pricing for boat rentals at Trident Marine. Our owners were super and easy to reach. The house was overstocked with everything you could need. We will definitely be back and will stay longer. ##### Richardson B. No need to leave the property - the kids had a blast in the pond and hot tub. When it rained, we had a great time in the game room basement. Home was clean and welcoming and easy to find whatever we needed. Kelly checked in periodically and was responsive to any questions. We were welcomed with chocolate and treats for our dog. Everything was clean and the beds were so comfortable they felt like someone was hugging you! We were already planning to come back before our vacation was even over. The kids loved the pond! They swam and fished all day! The hot tub was very relaxing and very well taken care of. Five stars for sure The property was absolutely breathtaking when you pull up there is it beautiful pond in the backyard with a peddle boat gas fire pit, woodburning fire pit, hot tub, and so much more even all the little details on the inside of the lodge were thought of by the owners who went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay we highly recommend staying at this property.
