"DO NOT stay in room #133. I don’t fault the staff becuase it’s their job to maintain housekeeping but room #133 is right next to the maintenance room and staff lounge. Other than that the staff was very friendly and amenities were great."

"We rented the house for a family vacation and really enjoyed our stay. The pool was very nice to have when not going to the beach. The kitchen and BBQ was in top notch condition with many items like pots and pans conveniently provided. Beautiful home, very comfortable. Host communicated very well and made the trip a breeze."

"What a great place! Everything was excellent from the cottage, to the pool/jacuzzi and outdoor area including the bbq and outdoor shower. This place is excellent couples looking for a quiet relaxing place or a family with 1-2 kids. Carrie was a wonderful host with great communication. The place is also close to the Wailea shopping area and restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay at Autie Kali’s Cottage and look forward to another stay in the future."

"This is an excellent location for Haleakalā sunrise and also the back road to Hana. I highly recommend leaving early and doing the back road to Hana, it was amazing to have the road basically to yourself until you reach PipiWai Trail. As for the property, it is beautiful and clean and the views are lovely. Delightful hosts. But honestly the setup is a bit odd-you can really hear every little thing the hosts are doing in the kitchen, so it isn’t truly private. Just a flimsy plastic door separates you in the downstairs. And the only available sink is the bathroom sink so if you want to rinse off dishes you use or fill your hiking water bladder, etc, you use the bathroom sink. So it’s a nice place but I wouldn’t stay more than two nights."

"This is a super nice adult only hotel. Nice and quiet. Staff is wonderful. On point. Hotel car service is excellent with luxury cars available. The room is nice. Large and spacious. My only critique is that the restaurant has a limited menu. But selection is great. Highly recommend."
