"Staffs were nice and accommodating to our requests. Breakfast had good selections. The place is very close to the beachfront. Location was close to the ferry terminal. We would stay here again in the future."

"Nothing special about the rooms which, were accessed from outside. Expensive stay. The main draw is the Spa, pool,etc which we didn't use. Our dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Michelin star quality. Location was good for Buchart Gardens and excellent for the ferry which was right next to the hotel. There is a large pub for middle of the road dining, frequented by locals. It was very busy. Overall, it was excellent for a spa-oriented stay but otherwise expensive and nothing special."

"The Cottages is a very nice property. Spacious 2 bedroom 3 bath,full kitchen, dining and living room. Deck and patio with furniture. However, almost every table top is quite marked and old looking. Soft furniture is getting kind of worn. Lamp shades broken and lopsided. It’s a very, very hilly property,so if you have mobility issues it would be a real problem to walk around. Also, I don’t like paying hundreds of dollars to rent a unit and being asked to strip the beds,take out the garbage and recycling and make sure dishes are done and put away. No DW. It starts to feel like they don’t want to do anything. Check in is 5 pm, which in my experience is quite late and check out is 10am. Management sends you a door code and cottage assignment by email. The office closes at 4, so you don’t see anyone. Also, the property is outside of town so you must have a car and drive for meals out or shopping."

"Great stay in Ganges on Saltspring Island for us and our little dog too! The property was beautiful, well maintained, clean and quiet, gorgeous view of the harbour, and an easy walk across the street to town. The entrance and parking were a little hard to find the first time, you have to drive through a school parking lot behind the building and up a hill. But easy after that."

"We really enjoyed staying in such a charming cottage! The beautiful ocean views from the house were fantastic and we loved the easy, across the street, beach access. The host was very friendly and even left us some lovely treats in the fridge!"

"A beautiful, cozy place to celebrate my 50th. It was like getting a nature hug every time I stepped out the door.For me it was a perfect location; conveniently close to the ferry and downtown Ganges, but secluded and far enough away to provide the peace and solitude I needed. I almost wished for a rainy day to rationalise curling up in the comfy bed all day with my book. (Too much to explore though.) I would definitely go back. Highly reccomend for couples looking for a quiet place to have a romantic get-away."
