Loved staying here! It is the cutest house with so much character and beautiful stained glass. Location next to the beach was amazing. It was clean, beds are comfortable, and house is well stocked with necessities. Toby is a great and responsive host and kindly leaves you fresh food basics and drinks.

A huge space in a very nice location. As close to beach front as possible with out being beach front. Toby was very helpful and let us borrow his SUPs for a morning paddle in the bay. The beds were on the basic side but still very comfortable. Beautiful stained glass features throughout the cottage. Our family of three very much enjoyed our two nights.

House was very spacious bedrooms and linens were really excellent bathroom was clean kitchen was well equipped. Our house was located right across the street from Vesuvius Beach, which is very popular for swimming and well attended people were going in and out most days and nights. Lots of car traffic

Tap water tasted off. Maybe a couple of jugs of water would be helpful. Loved the beach across the road. Oh the door was a bit tricky to open and lock. We did really enjoy salt spring island and the kind and friendly people and the laid back atmosphere.

The location was superb. Walking down to the beach was so easy. The windows allowed for the bright sunshine to be part of our day, all the time! Toby is very helpful, providing advice and suggestions. Local walks were lovely. Saw deer, herons, eagles. A great place to get away and have a relaxing, quiet vacation.

Very cute cottage with beautiful stain glass everywhere adding to the quaint beauty of the place. The proximity to the swimming beach is convenient and makes it easy to hang out there and come back for forgotten items or meals.On a side note, the acoustics are wonderful and made playing guitar and singing especially enjoyable.

The vacation home in Vesuvius was a charming seaside house (built I'm guessing in the 1930s) across a lane from the ocean and a beautiful beach. The house contains two good size bedrooms, a large living room and a well laid out kitchen which is bright and came fully equipped for a comfortable stay. It is a short distance from Ganges, the major centre of island activity. Perfect for exploring beaches, hiking and enjoying the artist vibe the Island is known for. The owner is friendly and helpful. We'll stay there again if we return to Saltspring Island. Highly recommended.

A great stay! Toby was very quick to respond to any questions throughout our stay, he made us feel very welcome here. It was a gorgeous stay across from the ocean for a very fair price compared to others in the area! The place was spotless when we arrived. The house is so beautiful and full of character. We would gladly visit again. Thanks Toby!
