« The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. »

« Stay away from this apartment. The apartment was easily in excess of 90 degrees with very inadequate air conditioning. In addition the owner remotely disconnected the air conditioning after 9 p.m. and the temperature in the apartment exceeded 90 degrees. It is very unnerving that the owner has electronic devices that they control remotely. After contacting the owner, they said there is nothing they can do about it and refused to change anything or to refund my money. Do not stay here. »

« My family really enjoyed our stay at Alex's place. We were visiting family friends who were located in Swampscott and were excited to have a large place to ourselves. We appreciated how close the apartment was to downtown Salem, local beaches and restaurants. The drive to our relatives in Swampscott was 5-10 minutes. The WiFi was very fast (which we needed for access to work). Communication with Alex was a breeze. We plan to return to the apartment next time we are in town! Thank you for a great...
