This hotel s listed Pet friendly .we have a tiny dog so we reserved for August 9th. We got there and we were refused. Only service dogs allowed. No help. Nightmare to find a place. Finally had to take an old place. I can’t understand that an hotel do not keep their website up to date

Très belle expérience au Stone Gâté le personnel est chaleureux propre et confortable. Le déjeuner continental est bien et quelques commodités tout près de l’hôtel.

We spent one night there and all was good. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise as it had a lot more to offer than what we saw in the pictures. Pool was nice and warm. Staff was friendly. Location wasn't too far away from amenities. Would definitely use Stone Gate Inn again in the future.

My wife and I stayed at the inn overnight after seeing a performance at Casino Rama which is approximately 10 - 15 minutes-drive away. We found the staff very polite, friendly and obliging. The lobby was inviting, had a fireplace and was well lit by the light coming through the main door and window. The executive suite was fairly large, comfortable and clean. The bed mattress was medium which allowed us to get a good night's sleep. Although there were the usual soaps and creams available, we didn't need them as we had our own. The only negative that I'll mention is that the toilet tank cover should be replaced with one that fits. The price for the room was very reasonable and well below that of many of the hotels closer to the Casino. We booked another stay in July.

The hotel has made some positive changes and finished renovations since our last stay. New maintenance guy(Steve) is doing a great job getting the hotel in great shape. He resolved an issue in our room immediately and went out of his way to help us get beverage supplies. Front desk staff were friendly and professional Breakfast buffet had lots of items to choose from. The cookies were delicious. Only issue at breakfast buffet was the worn out waffle machine that frustrated some guest Overall a great stay and looking forward to going back next month

Nice room very friendly staff breakfast good The hours for pool and gym are not convenient. Should be 7 to 11. The rules say to wash any dishes you use in the suite but no soap or dishcloth provided.

This hotel was much better than we expected. It is not a modern but well maintained hotel. We've got an upgraded room with jacuzzi for free. Staff was very friendly and breakfast quite good.

WORST HOTEL IN ORILLIA! DIRTY AS EVERY! NONE OF THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY ALL RUDE. No one knows what’s going on there, I check in say I’m have a dog for one night the girl oh no problem $50 charge for cleaning I said okay paid it the stay was fine I guess besides the dirtiness , go to check out Sunday an it’s a huge deal it was suppose to be a service dog all tho no one asked or anything an because it wasn’t a service dog I’m kicked off the list!?! THEY DONT KNOW THERE HEAD FROM THEIR BUTT HOLE, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO GO!

Back in the day this was probably the go-to place. Unfortunately it has seen better days. The staff was nice enough but I was glad to get out of there. “Free or continents breakfast” is a disappointment to say the least. If you are a couple or family looking for a place to stay - this isn’t it. If you’re a contractor or working in the area it’s at least crime free. And don’t use the “fitness room” - the 1990’s might call to get their equipment back. Sorry Stone Gate 👎

The staff at the Stone Gate Inn were very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is outdated and needs some patching up here and there. But it is reasonably priced and is a short drive to the casino.

Beds were comfortable. Television in bedroom did not work properly and sliding door did not lock. This is a huge security concern. Decor is dated but not a deal breaker. The breakfast is continental (all carbs) and did not suit my dietary requirements.

This was a great stay for the price. The staff are super nice, and the rooms are very spacious and clean. We would stay again! However, the rooms do need some repairs and updating as there were spots on walls that had been patched but never painted or re-wallpapered, peeling paint, and stained ceiling tiles, some of which looked very damaged.

The rooms were equipped with a small kitchen which had everything you would ever need. The rooms were nicely sized and the beds were so comfortable! The hotel is unique and gives you that feeling as soon as you walk through the lobby
