"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat.
We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"We had an outstanding time at this beautifully located accommodation, surrounded by peace and nature. The atmosphere was very warm and family-like, especially during dinner, which is available on request and felt more like a shared meal among friends than a restaurant experience. The breakfast was delicious and offered a perfect start to the day. All in all, a truly enjoyable and memorable stay!"
"The host was so welcoming. He and his wife made us feel right at home. We immediately felt comfortable and like we weren’t just guests in their home but long time friends. Their hospitality was so appreciated. And the home made breads, yogurt, and preserves didn’t hurt either!! 😉 Highly recommend!"

If satnav takes you to narrow white gate, it’s difficult entry angle. Keep going round the hotel to wider gate and easier access round other side! Reception is at the back of hotel."
"Overall, it was a pleasant base for our three-day trip to Dordogne. Our lovely host, Christine, was welcoming and helpful in recommending places to visit and restaurants to try, and the breakfast she prepared was delicious. The room was clean and functional."
"Large clean room with tea and coffee, comfortable bed. Lovely outside area with a view and very quiet. Fantastic evening meal and I’m sure breakfast will be too. We took our dog and did a great walk straight from the place and saw a hot air balloon."
