The check in and check out process is remote and completely separate from any on-site staff. The hotel’s best feature is its location. It is extremely close to the Court Square subway station, making it very easy to get around the city. There are also good markets and restaurants nearby. However, several issues affected our stay. We were initially given the wrong room after a long journey. Although we requested a refund for this inconvenience, the hotel did not accept it. Communication was also difficult, as it was hard to understand the operator on the phone. In terms of comfort, the bedding setup was unusual. Instead of a proper duvet cover, the duvet was placed between two flat sheets, which made sleeping uncomfortable. We requested a duvet cover, but this was not provided. Additionally, no housekeeping service was offered during our stay. Check-In at the location is odd if you have reserved via Expedia. When you get to the property there is nobody to greet you or check you in. There is a paper on the door directing you to contact the Hotel Customer Service for an access code to the building and to your room. ##### Christopher Séjour de 1 nuit en mars 2026 ### 8/10 – Bien #### David, New Orleans Voyage en famille avec de jeunes enfants 28 mars 2026 Points forts : Propreté We had a great stay at this beautiful location. It surpassed our expectations - It was clean, a 2 minute walk to a great diner and the subway that had us in Manhattan in less than 15 minutes. It was also very close to a lot of stores and the view was top notch. There is also a rooftop bar an elevator ride away. The problem was that if you went up there and it was closed you could only get to the bottom floor next door and you could be locked in. FDNY was there one night getting someone out of an elevator shaft and they were about to break the door to open it because they were locked in. Check-in was not good. The code they gave me didn’t work and there were other guests who had the same issue. I had to call for a new code which took quite a bit of time, and then they put me in a one bedroom when I had reserved a two bedroom. The code that ended up working stopped working the next day and if it hadn’t have been for my kids still being in the room I would’ve been locked out of the building and room entirely. Fortunately when I got to the right room I requested the number for the property manager and he was able to assist with the new code, which switched again later that evening. If they can get the code issue figured out and get the right people into the right rooms this would be the perfect stay. We arrived before check-in time but we couldn’t use the lockers to store our luggage, while the online agent kept asking us to continue trying and didn’t offer any help😅😅 wasted us almost one hour…. Overall the room is clean, with many kitchen stuff. Remember to bring your own slippers, toothbrush and paste because they didn’t provide. Transportation is very convenient, closed to E/G/F and 7 metro lines. But it also means you can hear sound of line 7 in your room. Think twice if you are a light sleeper. No information was sent prior to arrival, and I only received instructions about 20 minutes before check-in time after calling twice to ask for them. Each time I came to the property, I saw other guests in the lobby dealing with the same issue. There’s also no staff present in the lobby to assist in person, which made things even more difficult. The room had several problems as well. The TV remote had no batteries. I called three times and was told it would be fixed, but after three days, nothing was done, so I ended up buying them myself. There was also a dirty towel in the room, and despite calling twice for a replacement, it was never addressed. I eventually had to go out and buy one. There was also a noticeable weed smell in the hallways, which made the environment less pleasant.
