"Absolutely incredible property, and even more incredible host. We came to Alaska for our kids to get the chance to finally visit the last frontier, and we wanted to stay close to family, this home provided the opportunity for both. The home has everything, and more, than you could possibly imagine. Super comfortable environment, beds, and amenities. The hosts really make you feel at home. Are you an aviation enthusiast? The front door is a runway, and the home is attached to an aircraft hangar. A true Alaskan experience with bush planes taking off in the morning. (Our first day my kids got to see an aircraft take off). On our last night we stopped by the hosts home and spoke a bit with the home owner. They are truly incredible people who are true, genuine, good Alaskan people. Jeff took me up for my first Alaskan bush plane ride, and as a pilot, it was amazing to see God’s creation of Alaska from the sky. We will return, and we will stay in this amazing property. You should do the same. "

"The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and within walking distance of the state fair. (Less than a mile walk) my husband and I enjoyed the very spacious room. I did think it was odd that there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. You have to call a number once you get there."

"Read the other reviews on this property and set your expectations. It’s a budget friendly option. Looking for a hot shower, flushing toilet and a bed - you’ve got it. Rooms are upstairs from the bar so you’ll hear the music until 10 PM. Not an issue if you’re in the bar which has a very cool vibe to include the play lists. There’s a separate restaurant section for non-drinkers.Good surveillance - door locks are dated but functional. The staff is warm, friendly and certainly add to the magic."
