« Kiwassa Lodge was just what we needed, serene and spacious. Sitting on the patio or down on the dock, there was near silence, just an occasional boat (but no jet skis). Alan is very responsive and accommodating. The house is not a cookie cutter lake house but an architecturally appealing design and likely built in the hey day of Adirondacks (not that its time has past) with lots of lake facing glass.We had everything we needed and everything was clean. « Could be great. Nice cabin but very limited with supplies if staying longer than a couple days. Couch in living room needs replacing. Limited seating if there are multiple people in your group. Outside was not maintained, grass was not cut and high which made it tough with the dog. A few corrections and this place would be amazing. I would stay again for my visit to Lake Placid and surrounding area. »
