« The house had everything we needed, downstairs very open. The stairs were steep and narrow, wasn't an issue for us but maybe for others. Took a minute to figure out the light switches. They had a few toys for our baby -9 mos- to play with, was nice. The neighbourhood was not what we expected, but had no issues. There was a previous comment about it looking "hood" I wouldn't say Hood just older houses on a river, that are their homes not vacationed lodging. Overall it was nice, clean, and quiet....

« We had some events in the area, so we decided to book a lake-front property to enjoy some quiet, Fall-season time. The place didn't disappoint. By mid-October, this area is past the fall-foliage season and boat traffic is at a minimum. This listing is accurate. The place is quiet. The host is very responsive. Enjoy! »

« Screened in porch takes you to the river edge and watching the big ships on the St. Lawrence was a new experience. (There's even an app to track them.) Open floor plan with lots of room. Country cozy with the comforts of home. Hope to return and stay longer next time. Charming host! »

« We had a fabulous time at Breezy Retreat! It was a cozy cottage on a bay with a fantastic view of Black Lake. The cottage was very clean and supplied everything we could have possibly needed. We appreciated the a/c units with the temps in the 80's. Also, it was nice to know there was a backup generator. We appreciated the history of the cottage. « Tiny House is exactly what it is, it was perfect for what we needed and affordable. All the hotel chains in the area are outrageously over priced all the time. This rental is perfect for a couple or single person staying a night or two. Its an all open floor space, double bed is a fotone & queen bed was up on a loft. 3 of us with a dog stayed 1 night, my 17 year old was the better option to climb up to queen bed, my husband and i stayed on the couch bed and our 50lb dog laid on his dog bed...

« Beautiful property and place to stay. Everything is provided…all you need is your clothes! Kids loved the kayaks and we all enjoyed outdoor fire pit. The cottage is bigger than it looks from the outside and is appointed very well. We cooked all of our meals there and enjoyed eating on the back porch. The owner was excellent to work with and we have zero complaints. Definitely would recommend! »

« We took a long weekend to so my granddaughter could visit her other grandparents in the area. The home is very well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. We wanted for nothing! We wished it was summer to take advantage of the lake amenities. We will definitely visit again. »
