"We had some events in the area, so we decided to book a lake-front property to enjoy some quiet, Fall-season time. The place didn't disappoint. By mid-October, this area is past the fall-foliage season and boat traffic is at a minimum. This listing is accurate. The place is quiet. The host is very responsive. Enjoy!"

"Beautiful cottage, clean, excellent view. We used the boat every day. It was gassed up and worked fine. There is a wood pile for camp fires. Muliple kyaks, canoes, and a stand up paddleboard. I saw loons on the lake (first time for me) and we heard owls at night. The fridge was clean and empty when we arrived...so you do need to bring any condiments, etc you might need. They do have salt & pepper. They have a kerig and a regular drip coffee pot. Highly recommend staying here...we hope to come...

"Tiny House is exactly what it is, it was perfect for what we needed and affordable. All the hotel chains in the area are outrageously over priced all the time. This rental is perfect for a couple or single person staying a night or two. Its an all open floor space, double bed is a fotone & queen bed was up on a loft. 3 of us with a dog stayed 1 night, my 17 year old was the better option to climb up to queen bed, my husband and i stayed on the couch bed and our 50lb dog laid on his dog bed...

"Adorable, comfortable house. Needed a place for 4 people and the house was the perfect size. Walking distance from downtown and Clarkson. Little too long a walk to SUNY Potsdam. The fire pit out back was an added bonus. Would stay there again if we return to Potsdam."

The owners are responsive and wonderful at leaving a little something extra to welcome the guests. "Loved the big dining table that allowed for us to eat family style and celebrate our daughter's birthday. The house was charming and we loved having the room to spread out. I could have spent a lot of time in the library/game room browsing and reading books. A super room! I would suggest though maybe some updates to the bedding and perhaps toilets. Overall though we would recommend and stay here again!"

"We had a great stay here! My husband and I and our 3 kids were in town for the weekend. The camp was very peaceful on the river. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed including coffee, toiletries, towels, linens and more. The hosts even included complimentary drinks and a smores kit which we used when we made a fire in the outdoor fire-pit. It was the perfect spot for our weekend stay and I highly recommend. Host was great at communicating."
