The property itself is beautiful. We stayed in a family cabin, everything looked nice from the outside . The floor was sloped and random sewer smells. Difficult parking everywhere. The cabin cleanliness was unacceptable. There was a rock hard couch with dog hair on it, human hair between the mattress and sheet and red and brown stains on both bed comforters. Doors, walls and floor were all dirty and cobwebs in all conners including the newly renovated bathroom. Not worthy of being called a spa due to cleanliness and nowhere in the cabin to sit comfortably to relax. Reno’s are done cheaply with conners cut everywhere. Too many other things to list, not a romantic place to stay. The sauna is shared, and there is a walkway directly past the patio where people may pass by, as the owner lives above. The patio area is therefore not fully private. The main living area is on the same level as the patio and does not have blinds, which made it difficult to feel comfortable in the space.Additionally, the kitchen is located directly above the bedroom, and noise made it difficult for us to sleep, especially as we tend to go to bed early. Due to the layout, sound travels between the upper and lower levels, which further impacted privacy. The kitchen setup also does not include a stove/oven or dishwasher, which may be important for some guests to know.Due to these factors, we made the decision to check out early the following morning and moved to another property.These details would have influenced our decision to book had they been clearly understood beforehand. This may still work for some guests, but it did not align with what we were expecting for a private anniversary stay."
