« Grace's retreat was awesome!! Comfortable beds, enough seating for all, great deck with view and well equipped kitchen. I hosted a Father's day cook out. We had serving plates, cutting boards, and mixing bowls and enough utensils for all. Terry was awesome when dropping off/picking up the pontoon boat. We had a fun time on the lake and will be returning. »

« When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh! »

« We had the most wonderful time this weekend. The neighborhood was 2 easy turns from interstate. The home was furnished and decorated beautifully. The outside living area was so perfect, and the lake was so relaxing. Perfect set up for kids, teens, or friends. Ample space for everything. So many personal touches. It felt like home. Owner had great communication. Highly recommend. »

« Family Paradise was the perfect setting for my family to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday. The house was set on a beautiful cove with breathtaking lake views. We enjoyed the kayaks, slide, and jump platform. We tried to fish , but were never able to catch anything. Shannon was very responsive and able to answer all questions we had leading up to the trip. I would definitely recommend staying at this location, and I hope we can again soon. »

« This is the perfect property for a large family or family and friends. This house has TWO full size kitchens and laundry rooms. One upstairs and another downstairs. The third floor has games such as PAC MAN, and air hockey as well as two double beds that I am sure your children or grandchildren would like to call their space. « This lake house was the perfect place for our family! We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy Smith Lake. We cooked on the Weber grill every day and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the deck. The pontoon boat and water toys were perfect for the teenagers and young adult grandchildren too. We are already making plans to return! »

« We had the best experience staying here! The house was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed and more. The kids had so much fun playing on the lily pad, paddle boarding, and swimming off the dock. It had everything we needed for grilling and we enjoyed making smores over the fire pit. The communication with the host was great and friendly. We look forward to coming back to stay! »

« Good location being only a minute to the public boat ramp. Parking big enough for my truck and boat along with 3 other vehicles, including a SeaDoo. Clean place. Recommend making available more trash bags and updating mattresses and pillows. The property owner was very helpful in getting us access to the house when VRBO couldn't get their act together in getting us access via OneKey. VRBO support was pathetic, but the property owner was great. »

« We had a wonderful time at Emerald Escape. The design and decorating inside and the view outside is great. We had such a good and restful time. The mornings out on the upper and lower level with a cup of coffee were just so refreshing. We also spent some time on the dock swimming and watching all the action on the lake. We definitely used the grill each day cooking steaks, hamburgers, and hotdogs. We just loved the quiet and peace especially in the mornings where so many other popular vacation...

« We loved our stay! Spacious home and has been beautifully redone. Everything was as clean as you would hope. Hosts were so easy to get in contact with. One of our guests left her makeup bag and they graciously sent it to her at no charge - SO kind!! »

« The house is a very nice place to stay. Very clean on the inside but the porches where we liked to hang out had a few too many spider webbs. Just needed a good pressure washing. It was very easy to make contact with the owners. They were quick to respond with answers to any questions. The road getting to the property is rough. We had our boat with us and it was extremely difficult to get the boat down that road. Definitely recommend putting in at clear creek if you have a boat any larger than a...

« We gathered to celebrate my son’s 23rd birthday. We didn’t need 2 areas for cooking but having the extra space was nice. 3 refrigerators was a plus. It rained at some point on most days but had plenty of games or just chill and read a book. We used the paddle boards and played corn hole too. Wonderfully quiet place in a neighborhood with large lots. »

« This rental has everything that you will need when staying on the lake. Kayaks, life jackets, and paddle board were all provided. All of the cooking materials that you could need along with some basic spices. The grounds are beautiful and the house sleeps a lot people comfortably. The owner was very responsive with any questions. They even provide some snacks and basic essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap, etc… i highly recommend this rental. »
