"This is a perfect place to have a family reunion. It's close to Nauvoo, but has lots of space for the kids to run around. The garage area has lots of tables and chairs for dining. Lisa is also great to work with. We would definitely come back again!"

If was staying longer would have preferred more than a mini fridge. Since no kitchen we made due with doing dishes in shower & sink with a small wash tub. Possibly a small utility sink in laundry storage room would be beneficial. Brought an electric griddle to make our food a few times. "We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe."

"Went with 6 adults and 6 children. Each couple had their own room with private bathroom. The cousins all slept in the same room together, with bunk beds and their own bathroom. The family room was spacious and the basement offers a place for kids to go and play, giving the adults a chance to relax on their own.
