We had a great time. Especially the patio. The beds were quite small but putting them together was a possibility.
Only down side is, there wasn't an iron board and iron. When it was brought to us the next day, it wasn't working. This should be 2 standard items in every room. And working, of course.

Excellent to rest because it is not noisy and a lot of adult guest.. My only claim is there s only on type of food (Italian) and there's no options available unless you go by your own outside and buy something different.

Nice spacious rooms. Hotel staff very friendly. We experienced some issues in the first 2 rooms but management, housekeeping and maintenance were very helpful in assisting us with the issues. Great follow-up from the staff after all was well again. Beautiful environment. Hotel is very centrally located and in reach of supermarkets, restaurants and shopping district. Also, being able to park inside is a major plus. We felt secure the entire time.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. And hope to be back soon and hopefully in the same room we stayed in last time.
Pleasantly surprised at the location and overall setting of this hotel. My only dissappointment was taking an interior room, this room offered only one view - the inside of a conference hall which had the lights on 24/7.
But what it took away from a view, it more than made up for in location and ammenities. The 2nd floor "ocean themed pool" was an awesome sight and experience, as well as the close proximity to the downtown shopping and restaurant areas.
This is definately for me a must return visit as I was extremely pleased with the overall experience minus the setback of a non functional elevator service in the car park area.
Arrived to a grand open air lobby overlooking the pool and the beach, immediately offered a cold beverage (beer, soda, fruit juice). check in was quick and efficient. We had a ground level garden view room by choice because with our 1.5 year old daughter it was easiest for beach/pool access. Hotel does have elevators. There are a few dining options plus hotel has different themed dinners throughout the week (BBQ night, lobster night, etc). the beach is for hotel guests only which makes it feel safe and secure. The staff was one of the friendliest and helpful staffs I've encountered. With a toddler we constantly made requests and they accommodated quickly with a smile always offering to help further. The other guests were a nice mix of couples young and old, families and some singles groups. Its a great family friendly resort with activities for everyone such as sunset/sunrise yoga, casino, spa, fitness center, whirlpools and kids club. The pool and beach were so nice it was where we spent most of our time.
What a wonderful hotel to stay in for a first visit to the Caribbean. The staff greeted us so warm and welcoming. They were very accommodating and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautiful! The pool is gorgeous when lit up at night. The restaurant is fantastic! They even had a Friday night event that guests were invited to and treated to free drinks! Upon leaving, I told the staff I would definitely come back to the Floris and would highly recommend to my friends and family. I do hope that if you chose to go to this area, you try the Floris hotel.

This was a very nice place to stay. The rooms are small but not tiny and why would you want to spend time in the room anyway? The staff was very nice and helpful. The "free parking" is street parking but there really is plenty of it. We walked from here to the queen bridge multiple times - felt safe and comfortable as long as it was the two of us together, even at 2 or 3 am. The pool is tiny but again, don't both with the pool - go to the beach. I think this is a good hotel if you're renting a car.
The capital city, Willemstad boasts Dutch architecture due to its colonial past with the Netherlands. Blauw Bay, on the islands’ south coast, is nearby. It is popular with snorkelers, divers, swimmers, and sunbathers. Also close is Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort, formerly known as the Blauw Plantation, which was used as a farm and quarry until 1990.
