"Great beach for snorlkin or scuba w/o experience!!"
We had a wonderful time. Blue Bay is one of the greatest beaches in Curacao. Within 2 meters you can see already different fishes...and a little be further upto "morenas". My wife when for scuba diving for her first time ever...she had a great time. The staff were really nice!!! We stayed in a ocean front room 2 rooms...perfect for family of 4...2 bedrooms...and it was really ocean front...excellent/spectacular view of the sunset. The only thing, there is a restaurant (Pictures) that is the same complex run by other company (BAYSIDE)...poor service and food.

"Small unassuming boutique hotel with friendly staf"
The hotel itself has all the amenities you would expect of a 3 star hotel and it's kept clean but there's not much going on, despite having a casino!
The rooms are spacious and clean with TV, hairdryer and lovely patio's set in lush tropical gardens. Absolutely no complaints on the rooms. The cleaners were in everyday with fresh towels and lovely smellies to freshen up the room.
The reception staff are friendly and accommodating to whatever you need. They even sorted out a rental car for me when every other company was fully booked!
The pool is small and not for swimming lengths as there is some foliage in the middle so you can only swim in a square shape but there is also a kiddies pool to relax in and plenty of sunbeds. The bar staff are super friendly and they make some super cocktails.
The restaurant is run separately from the hotel and it's just italian food. It would have been better if it had offered some local dishes too. The manager is not so attentive but there are plenty of restaurants on the island to choose from.
I only peeked into the casino and it was pretty smokey so I never spent an evening inside but apparently there was some entertainment on certain evenings.
You do need a car to get around as the hotel is in the business district which is 10 mins away from both downtown and the beach. The hotel does offer a shuttle bus but it doesn't run in the evenings so you are stuck in the hotel at night if you don't have a car.

I was in Caruso for one night and spent a great New Year's eve with the very welcoming and friendly owners of this Curacao winery. Their place is unique, superclean, and very inviting. The free airport pick up and drop off was especially convenient for me. I highly recommend this place and will go back if I'm in Curacao.
Less then 5 min, to tthe shopping area.
Although right in the city of Punda, Willemstad it has it tranquility.
The hotel needs a make over and remodelling. Renovation.
Now as it has a new owner II hope that will happen.
I always stay at this hotel when visiting Curacao. Close to everything
The capital city, Willemstad boasts Dutch architecture due to its colonial past with the Netherlands. Blauw Bay, on the islands’ south coast, is nearby. It is popular with snorkelers, divers, swimmers, and sunbathers. Also close is Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort, formerly known as the Blauw Plantation, which was used as a farm and quarry until 1990.
