"Our room and overall experience was amazing. Our concierge Bryan was very accommodating and helped us with everything from getting a taxi to making a plethora of recommendations for us to try. The room was spotless, the shower pressure and lighting (for makeup) were great, and the best part was the view! Waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the stunning private beach, relaxing to epic sunsets and enjoying the food and cocktail offerings at the different restaurants made this stay perfect for the birthday that we were celebrating. "We loved our stay at Renaissance. We definitely recommend the all-inclusive option. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and welcoming (shout out to Thalia, who helped us with a car rental!). There were always chairs at the beach. The grounds are beautiful, and the location is great for walking to town (though, you'll want a car to get to any of the amazing beaches on the island). "

"Not a safe place to stay. No ac, doors not securely locked, looks and feels like a motel. Ants all of the place. Staff unresponsive and not helpful. Picture in Expedia does not reflect the actual dated facility."
