I wanted to love this place
I really wanted to love this place. The house was in a picturesque spot with views of the cove. With that came an obnoxious amount of mosquitoes that were relentless. I will say the owner did have a lot of deet and bug spray but we were not prepared for the number of mosquitoes during our stay and was distracting. Also, advertising sleeping 9 in this house assumes at least 4 people will sleep in the loft and 5 in the second room downstairs. I don’t know about most people’s family but that is too boxed in for most. The pull out sofa downstairs was not clean/usable. We were pleasantly surprised by the fully equipped kitchen and the access to Disney + and Netflix for the toddler staying with us. Plenty of clean towels etc.

Wonderful quiet cottage on the water
We loved this house - clean, quiet and fully equipped. Upstairs is a master suite with two large comfy beds, big closets and huge bathroom with walk-in shower and soaker tub. Great views out to the ocean from the upstairs verandah. The main level has another bedroom to sleep 2-3, plus a bathroom, and comfortable living and dining room for 6. The kitchen is really well equipped, more like your home than what you'd find in a standard cottage. The hosts are easy to deal with. Their property is gorgeous, large and well-maintained. Vogler's Cove is a quiet spot but there are great beaches and other amenities close by. Highly recommended for a real taste of Nova Scotia's South Shore!

Great Nova Scotia vacation
This house had a fully stocked kitchen with beautiful appliances and provided extra towels for bathing. It also had a washer and dryer, which were essential for us as we travelled with our son, daughter in law, 3 yr old and 6 mos old grandkids. The 6 month old required multiple clothing changes and burp cloths needed to be washed daily. The beds were comfortable and each room had a ceiling fan for those hot evenings. The location is private and absolutely beautiful on a quiet cove. It had a playground just a short walk down the quiet road. It was a short drive to many different beaches and we found some great coffee and ice cream locations too. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting on the wrap around deck on the Adirondack chairs.

Great time
This was a beautiful place, very quaint and relaxing. Our 11-13yr old loves the nearby beaches. House was very nice and perfect for a family looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.
