"We got the room with the ocean view, and we had a nice sitting area on a wood deck overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was wonderful and the selection was great. One of the friendly staff shared with us that we could hike behind the hotel up a hill and it overlooked a beautiful lake with two glaciers as we crossed the top!! we walked back along a little stream, which was the spillway for the glacier Lake and came upon a black sand hill that was like a gorge between two mountains as we hiked. This was one of the great places we stayed in Iceland."

"Really nice place, super convenient supermarket was just across the street. I stayed in a two bedrooms apartment. Plenty of space for 4 people. However, there’s on hotel staff on site. We had to work everything out ourselves but there were clear instructions."
