"The hotel staff were so nice. The hotel was srunning.I feel like at US hotels they would scrounge the beautiful scenery dining room for only the expensive, elite dinner crowd and not allow the free breakfast to take place in that same dining room just out of pretention. The free breakfast was great. Especially the smoked salmon and breads. Dinner at Rangar was also fabulous. I would stay again. They have a staff the does wake up calls for Northern Lights all night, if you would like. We missed...

However the bathroom is super tiny with no place to hang or place toiletries. Breakfast was one of the better ones while traveling in Iceland. "Quiet, comfortable stay on a farm that was just outside of Vik and close to Dyrholaey and Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. There are 5 rooms with a shared kitchen, sitting area and 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms were modern and spacious, and even though they were 'shared,' there was always at least one open whenever needed. The other guests were quiet and considerate, so we would definitely stay here again."

"No one was there when we arrived but we soon found out that they were over booked and we we put up in a nearby hotel that was of a much poorer quality for the same price. I have read other reviews saying that when they arrived they found out that the hotel was overbooked too so this might be a policy of theirs. Nice enough place otherwise but I would not recommend."
