I stayed in one of the bungalows (the called it the chicken houses). Stay was comfortable, it is a small space so a bit crowded and the ceilings were short and sloped in so it made taking a shower a little challenging but still doable. The only turnoff for me was the sink was leaking from the drain pipe as well as one of the water lines going into the sink and the staff's response was to bring me towels. Luckily it wasn't a bad leak but you can tell the place suffers from bad plumbing issues with lots of water damage along the floor boards. The free breakfast and staff were top-notch. The beds were not comfortable at all and felt like they were from the 1800’s, my only complaint. Other than that, highly recommend. We were so tired from our adventures, it didn’t matter. Also loved the offer to call if the northern lights showed, we believe they did call, but we were so exhausted that we could not wake up.
