"The place had a great view but no sun on the deck (early October). The bed was a disappointment since it was a pullout sofa with 2 separate (very hard) beds. We did not realize we had to bring our own sheets and towels. Marcus arranges that we could walk to a ladies house and pay quite a bit of money to rent sheets for 3 days. "Good place to stay if your'e on a budget and want to be quite central in Lugano. You have a small balcony with the view of concrete walls. Sleeping in the sofa/bed works but of course not the best. If you are on the heavier side, you will feel the steel pipes on your back. Internet via Wifi did not work at all, sent a mail to the owner the same day I arrived, three days later still not working, however 5G worked really good, I had over 300 Mbit over 5G. "Parking was further from the property than expected. There is no view from the building other than the walls of other homes. It was very cold in the apartment when we arrived. A guide or map of the surrounding area and point of interest would have been helpful."

"The apartment itself is fine and the view is great. Unfortunately it is located on a busy road with no sidewalk that opens directly on to the road. Do not stay here with small children. It is not safe. The building is also very old with no elevator. The washing machine was not functional and we had 2 power failures during a 2 night stay."

"Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet (insbesondere die Küche). Der See ist in nächster Nähe und auch an Wandermöglichkeiten hapert es nicht. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und stand uns stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt etwas versteckt zwischen anderen Häusern und ist etwas dunkel. Wer es kühl, ruhig und zurückgezogen mag ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank für die schöne und entspannte Zeit!"

"Staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and the pool was great. Park Hotel Principe is a sister hotel to the much more elegant Park Hotel Leopold across the street. You should definitely walk over there and enjoy the view from the bar. Bar / Bistro is still very expensive but the view is awesome. "
