Jarod, Meaghan and PJ were excellent hosts, most helpful and prompt in answering all our questions and taking care of our needs which included a poolside couples massage which I would highly recommend. One of the best vacations of our lives thanks in large part to Castillo del Mar, the absolutely perfect weather for 14 days and our excellent hosts."

It is very private, but there are great restaurants very close to the house. I would note that the upstairs loft bedroom is beautiful, with the attached living area, but it may not be appropriate for kids or folks with concerns about mobility. "Overall the property was great to stay at. The house was exactly as advertised and was perfect for our needs. The pool was amazing and we used it every chance we could during our week long stay. My only complaints: the air conditioning units in the bedrooms work, but could probably use some maintenance or a replacement. Second, all the markings on the stove were worn off so it was a guessing game on what knob did what. Overall, we would definitely stay at this home again next time we visit Costa...
