"Its a loveysetup😎 Super nice guys at dezk. Helpful. Lovely spot, quiet but can walk down beach or road to bars and restaurants. Downside is the no screens! And plenty ants and mosquitos. Nothing scree s wouldnt take are of. And ants everywhdre. Just put slme amdro around and tbdyd be gone too. Nice bunks in dorm but you couldd not open the windos for view because of no screens. Air conditioni g lovely. Breakfast nice! "

"We had a great stay! The rooms were clean but some basic things didn't work well like the sink drains and the light in our bathroom. There was a musty odour but I hear they're renovating soon. The staff were amazing - everyone was so kind and friendly and helpful. Food was good, and the pools were lovely! Overall a great choice, perfect if you have kids."

The food is delicious, the rooms are big and well maintained. The beach is amazing! Warm and calm water and it is in a great location! We were just there (off season) so it was not packed! "Overall, the resort itself is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained, and the food I had during the day was very good. There is definitely potential for a great vacation here, but my experience as a solo traveler was mixed. The staff were generally friendly, although I noticed the level of service often improved once they realized you were tipping. My biggest disappointment was the room assignment. I was told that because of the resort’s relationship with Travelocity, I would receive an amazing room. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I was placed in one of the furthest buildings (rooms 12–17), far from the restaurants, pools, beach, and entertainment. The area was dark and isolated, which felt unsafe as a woman traveling alone. I would have expected solo travelers to be placed in a more central location. The wildlife was another major issue. Raccoons actually entered my room and took food that the resort had left on the table. It seemed like they were accustomed to entering guest rooms, and throughout the night I could hear raccoons and monkeys outside trying the door. It made me uncomfortable enough that I avoided going out after dark, which meant I missed the evening dining and entertainment I had paid for. I also booked an expensive fishing excursion through the tour company on-site and was very disappointed. I didn’t feel the experience was worth the cost, and as a woman traveling alone, I felt like I wasn’t given the same effort or attention I expected."

"Great staff, amenities and quality. There are 3 restaurants but food options are limited overall, would have anticipated a wider menu. Also, the beach area is not safe, flipflops, hats and sunglasses get stolen regularly. There are jellyfish in the sea so beware."
