"The stay was great if your looking for short term and privacy away from tourism. Getting there you will need a 4WD or all terrain vehicle. The roads are rocky and bumpy. This is definitely a place for a great view of the volcano. The suite was cute and intimate. Worth the price for a night or two away from the busier areas."

We used uber to get around with very few issues, but a car would be useful to have since it is not located in the main area of town. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options.
