Was a great option for us for one night. But if you are planning on staying there and visit Montreal, keep in mind there is always lots of traffic on Samuel De Champlain bridge.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. 3-4 minute walk to the Metro and near a few convenient stores and restaurants. Rooms are a little small, so beware if you are a bigger person, but overall the rooms are very nice and clean and I don’t have any real complaints.

I am very happy with my stay in Le Square Phillips hotel. The location was very good with shops and restaurants close to the hotel and steps away from the famous St.Catherine Street. The rooms were very spacious with 2 double beds and a full kitchen which is a plus for my family. The bathroom is spacious too .
The only thing is that the toilet is very slow in flushing down and it might need changing to a newer toilet. We used the fitness center which had adequate equipments for exercises although...

Very close to everything we needed; food, parking, the concert venue, the SAQ... The room was fully loaded, the kitchen was a pleasant surprise, and the staff was really nice.

Great place. Great value for money. If I had to complain about something, it would be that the restaurant is not open all day. But given the neighborhood this is really a non issue. Overall great place to stay in Montreal.

It was our first time to come in Montreal and we found that the hotel"s location is great and can easily be reached due to accessibility of nearby public transportation.it has a great view as our floor is at the 16th.The night view was amazing. We went indoor swimming also at the rooftop and it was such a wonderful feature of the hotel. The cost per night was inclusive of a hearty and healthy buffet breakfast.Overall, it was such a memorable stay.

For budget-conscious travellers looking for inexpensive accommodation in Varennes, Quebec, focusing on areas slightly outside the immediate town centre or considering options in nearby towns will generally yield better results. Varennes itself is a smaller community, and while it has some lodging, truly cheap hotels might be more readily found in neighbouring areas with more extensive accommodation choices.
Solo travellers might find better value by looking at lodging options in the eastern parts of Longueuil, which borders Varennes. These areas often feature a broader selection of hotels and motels that cater to various budgets, and public transport connections are available, though a car would offer more flexibility for exploring Varennes and the surrounding region.
Alternatively, for those prioritising very low costs, exploring options in Sainte-Julie or even Boucherville, which are a short drive from Varennes, could be beneficial. While not directly in Varennes, these towns offer more competitive pricing for hotels and are still conveniently located for day trips into Varennes.
