I think we were the only people staying there and the girl working there really gave off a vibe that we were putting her out by making her be there and work. Other than our room the place was freezing. Such a shame as we were looking forward to staying in a royokan. At least the onsens in our room were good but overall not worth the price we paid. This place is highly recommendable (if you're after a private onsen). Far from where we came from (Kyoto-Takayama), but it is every inch worth it. The room itself, the service, and the dinner/breakfast are on point.
