"This comfy & very clean cottage was the perfect respite for our 3 night stay near Deep Creek lake! The owners were excellent communicators and the listing clearly reflects the cottage offerings. We enjoyed both porches, the grill, used the kitchen, the hot tub and were very comfortable sleeping in the 2 queen size beds in air conditioned rooms. Traveling as two couples - this home location was just right for our outings to Swallow Falls, Deep Creek Lake State Park, out to Dutch’s for dinner & convenient to our pontoon rental. Thanks for sharing your vintage cottage… With little cardinal touches everywhere! "

"This is a very comfortable home. Although no AC the breeze off the water and the availability of box fans made it comfortable for sleeping at night. The basement area is naturally very cool if you need to escape the heat. Home is very spacious and comfortable with plenty of options to spread out. The dock was great for my two wave runners. Just note that the channel outside the house is quite popular for boats with skiers to buzz by so be sure to bring plenty of feeders to absorb the impact. The lake is a blast to explore and there are no hazards. Only deep water. Highly recommend Railey mgt and there properties. Also the offsite storage for your trailer and machines is actually very convenient and keeps them from clogging property driveways. There are deer everywhere and I recommend Swallow Falls if you want a casual hike as a change of pace. "

"This place was absolutely amazing and just what our family needed. I’m so thankful I found this place and I will be booking again. The only thing I would say is that there needs to be a ladder for the dock but other than that, it was absolutely perfect! I had everything you needed and was close to everything! "

"We had a wonderful time at Wake Up Grateful. The house was private and quiet without being too far from places to eat and the State Park. "

"We had a fabulous time. The cleaning crew did a great job and we found everything clean and ready for us. On Thursday night the pipe under the kitchen sink sprung a leak and the service crew was very responsive and arrived within 30 minutes, diagnosed and made the repair. There are 2 items that need to updated on the website description. 1-1 full sized refrigerator and 2 small refrigerators are listed. There are actually 2 full sized refrigerators. 2-I called and asked how we could access the dock and slip. I was told it was a community dock and we could drive and park in a community area for access. This is not accurate. A better description for the website would be —-Dock Slip 4-C is accessible down a 100 yard wooded path. Thank you for a fabulous vacation."

"This property was perfect for a quiet getaway. The lake is 7 minutes away The neighborhood is quiet and secluded. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. The house was very clean. The young adults enjoyed the game room on the first floor. My husband I enjoyed the covered front porch. The hot tub was a very nice touch. It sure felt like home. "

"The property was fantastic! We had 6 adults and 5 kids ranging from 3-8 and felt like we had plenty of space. It was great having the mini golf and tennis courts right next to the house. The indoor pool was great and bigger than expected. The 9 hole par 3 links style course was absolutely amazing and was well kept, with holes ranging from 80 yards to 180 yards. Greens run slower but the conditions were great. House is about 5 mins from Deep Creek State Park and 20 minutes to Swallow Falls. Also enjoyed the huge yard and fire pit while watching the sunsets. I would definitely return in the future!"
