"Everything was very clean and the kitchen was amazing. There were multiple spiders in the downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and crawling on a lot of the windows (outside) but we managed to avoid them. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the views of the lake were gorgeous."

"This was a great house and location for our fall girls trip. The swim spa was amazing as were the lake views. The beds were comfy, and everything was clean. Would stay again!One call out, make sure to bring your own hand soap, pool towels, toilet paper and extras of the like."

"My issue was the kitchen was not well equipped for large parties. There were plenty of plates and glasses but the largest skillet was only a 20cm so making food for all of us was impossible.I was also bummed the basics weren't included (salt, pepper). We went grocery shopping but didn't realize this until after we got back. Not having cooking basics made it really difficult to settle in the first night especially with how late check-in is.Having to rent a pack-and play was also a first, we brought our own but it would have been nice to have that accessible with the rate since that was a search criteria and it's on the higher end of pricing anyway.Overall it was a great house with amenities but not very well located to have to go out multiple times to stock the fridge and kitchen."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines. A group of girlfriends and I rented the home for a Girls Getaway and it was the perfect setting for a wonderful weekend.The location was perfect, and the views of the lake were absolutely stunning. We especially loved spending time on the deck and enjoying the fire pit out back. The kitchen was well stocked with, which made preparing meals easy.I do have a couple of suggestions that may make future guests stays even better. The outdoor lighting could use some attention. Several of the lights leading down to the dock were knocked over or not working, which made the path quite dark at night. We also noticed that several lights inside the home were either not working or had burnt out bulbs.Another suggestion would be to add a note to the listing or provide signage indicating that there are several areas throughout the home where the elevation changes with small steps. Several of us tripped on these steps and unfortunately one of our friends fell when coming from the bedroom hallway into the living room. A simple notification could help guests be more aware of these transitions.Other than those minor issues, we had a wonderful time and would rent Whispering Pines again and would recommend this property to others looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway."

"House was amazing!!! Great location and the size was perfect for our extended family We would absolutely rent there again Unfortunately Red Barn was slow to respond to our concerns about active wasp nest on the porch Eve ( required second phone call ) and never responded when the hot went cloudy it was never drained and refilled as stated in welcome packet we where present when they came Sunday by Tues it was cloudy and smelled awful I called and sent pictures nobody come to take care of it sadly we stopped using it so that was disappointing"
