The room i stayed in had constant loud banging sounds from the room the table was broken and the bed frame also broken and scratched my leg causing it to bleed; but i was able to switch rooms the second day. "Second stay at Shamrock apartments another great stay. So close to all amenities, bus terminal so close, restaurants, shops etc.. hosts are attentive and quick to respond to any enquires. Appartment has everything you could need for your stay. Pool is small but clean. Plenty of sunbeds. Only negative not the appartments fault but a Scottish lady decided to sunbathe topless (which is not allowed) next to my 80 year old father, just because she wanted the particular bed he was using!! "

"We loved our stay at the Grand Harbour, accommodation was in a perfect spot, walking distance to busses, ferries & into to beautiful streets with all the shops, cafés & restaurants. The home had everything we needed & the housekeeper Sandra was fantastic, provided us with a few supplies for our arrival & organising our airport shuttle. "We were here in July and we baked. The coin operated air conditioner is in the bedroom only and the rest is fans. The apartment is 3m wide by 30m long, so the AC definitely won't work on the space outside the bedroom. The description in Expedia is inaccurate. There is no laundry, no shop, no garden, no onsite parking, and bring your own shampoo. There is a gas range, oven, microwave and small fridge. "Hmmm. Difficult to review this experience. So be clear, this is MY opinion and feelings from my stay. very spacious. Close walking distance to buses to/from airport and to get anywhere. Access to restaurants and convenience store nearby. Nothing negative to say about the apartment EXCEPT for me, I like to take a COLD SHOWER by choice. "I found the property was fully equipped for my needs and the view from the balcony was beautiful. It is also in an ideal situation overlooking the bay in a quiet area but close to shops and restaurants. It was easy to get around the island using the local buses from bus stops very close to the apartment. The check in was was friendly and efficient. I would recommend the place and would book again when, and not if, I go back to Malta"

Has all the conveniences you need for a small town atmosphere yet just convenient bus rides to the common tourist attractions in Malta. "Ideally situated excellent apartment in for what for me is the best resort area in Malta. 2 minutes from the sea front & 5 from the centre the owners were extremely helpful. Everything was as I would expect & I’d happily stay here again."

"The apartment has large rooms and a great front terrace which gets the morning sun. It is very well equiped too. There is a lot of building work in Marsaskala, thankfully this didn't disturb us. Marsaskala is a good base to explore from. We took the bus into Valletta most days to sightsee there or take a second bus to see more of the island. If planning on using buses buy your weekly ticket in the airport. Should we return to Malta we wouldn’t hesitate to book this apartment."

"The apartment location was great. Right beside Fort St. Angelo, a short walk to the water ferry to Valletta. The apartment was well outfitted and Francis was very kind to have stocked the fridge with a few essentials., as we arrived late in the evening. If the weather is warmer you can a dip in the harbour a few feet from the official entrance to the Mansions."
