"Whenever I stay in the DC area, this is the hotel I choose and I have never had a bad experience. The location is safe and very convenient for every place I need to go. The rooms at extremely clean and the food is hot and fresh. The best part of my experience is always the staff!!! They are extremely pleasant and professional and always accommodate my needs. They go out of their way to make my experience better than the last, which is quite refreshing!!! I always choose the his hotel for my stay and I highly recommend it! "

"We loved it! The room was fun with being able to control everything on the IPAD especially the colors in the bathroom/shower. At first we thought was little small, but the space is so well used and really perfect for just my husband and I. Good thing the kids didn't come, or they would have wanted to play with all the blinds and lights. Love the lobby and restaurant area and the decor is fun and a lot to keep you busy looking at. We checked in very late after Phillies game at Nats field and the gentleman that was down there was extremely helpful with us checking in on the self-serve kiosks. I was very pleased and price was amazing! Beds were super comfy too :) I was a little bummed there was no parking available for the hotel-but there is parking garages near by and we left the vehicle there and rented scooters to view the city-definitely should do, it was a lot of fun and we covered a lot of ground in a day!"

"On arrival lights didn’t work. Moved to another room next day, couldn’t fault it, view of Jefferson Memorial (as requested) higher floor & fizz, cake & hand made chocolates left in room. Very friendly reception, housekeeping & room service. Excellent breakfast (complimentary on first morning for inconvenience on arrival) delicious & service in all areas exceptional. "I’ve stayed at the State Plaza many times. The hotel is located in the Foggy Bottom area. A short walk to the monuments on the edge of GWU’s campus. The area is less crowded, convenient and safe feeling. The rooms are huge and comfortable. Everything is very clean, although I find the bathrooms may need a little touching up. Not a renovation, but just some aging that needs attention. The staff are always very nice and helpful. They have a paid underground secure self parking available. "
