Enjoy the sunset from the elevated deck under the lanai or walk out to the 30 foot private dock. With direct Gulf access and a deep water canal, bring your boat too! The public boat launch is only walking distance away from The Water's Edge. Enjoy grilling? Barbecue with a view from the barbecue deck complete with its own table and chairs. Hernando Beach Vacation Home

We spent 5 nights and had a great time. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The dock was great and we kept our boat in the water the entire time giving us direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. The owner made the rental very easy.

Great retreat

Well maintained home; owner was responsive to questions and resolved an issue with the pool quickly. Kitchen nicely equipped. Appreciated and used the kayaks and bikes provided. The time went by too fast!!

Very nice property

This property was wonderful! Nice quiet neighborhood yet close to restaurants and shopping. The hot tub was great. House was nicely furnished and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing stay

We had an amazing stay at Ed's house. The house has everything you could possibly need for the week. We loved the hot tub and pool and spent most of our time there. It was very quiet but close to great restaurants, kayaking, grocery stores etc.. will definitely consider renting again.

Great vacation!

Beautiful well maintained home! We had a great relaxing vacation! We enjoyed relaxing by the pool , cooking out on the grill. We also enjoyed the many great restaurants and bars on the beach. We look forward to staying here again!

Great home on a canal!

Gorgeous getaway

This place was a little slice of heaven for the family and I. We had so much fun having access to a pool and it really made it special for the kiddos. Having the dock on the canal was a nice touch for some intermittent fishing too. I would 10/10 visit this site again!

Canal solitude

Pool and spa were great. View was amazing. Grandson visited one day and went kayaking with me his Grandma. Weather cooperated for relaxing outside. We found a nearby beach to watch sunset. Walmart close. Grillled mostly. husband has limited mobility

Great Boating Getaway

The location is so convenient with parks, a marina and restaurants close by. Having the bikes available was an extra bonus. Easy channel access to get out and start your water adventure and you can finish the day off soaking in the hot tub. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Stay

Just got home from a long weekend stay. Fantastic house with all the amenities of home. We loved how close the house was to the boat ramp and how quickly we were out in the channel. The kayaks were a nice bonus and coming in after a long day on the water for a dip in the pool was the best! Will definitely stay again!

Great Home

Very nice relaxing home. Owner was very responsive to questions and home was well described in ad. Pool and hot tub was a plus. Location is close to everything but very quiet at night. We will definitely be back!

Nice House

We enjoyed our time here. Having the pool available and outside seating was very nice. The location worked great for us as we have family and friends who live in Spring Hill. Communication with the owner was great. We will be back!

You'll feel welcomed at Waters Edge

We had a fantastic stay at Waters Edge! The home was just as pictured with phenomenal amenities, warmth and decor. This is a PERFECT Florida get-away home with your own pool and spa. The screened in area is a major plus! Ed was extremely helpful and responded quickly to any of our questions. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property to friends and family! Bravo to Ed!

Pure Relaxation :)

What a beautiful home! My wife, Sandy, is an elementary school teacher and we needed to find a nice place to relax and chill over her Spring Break. Well, we found it. Ed, the owner, was most gracious and wanted to make sure we had a great time. He was very easy to talk to and gave us pointers on a few things around the house. It was well stocked, very clean, the hot tub/pool was fantastic, and plenty to do around the area. Very enjoyable and we hope to be back to The Waters Edge soon.

Great place to vacation

We had a great time at Ed's place in Hernando Beach. Ed was a great communicator and when I mentioned we had three boys ages 11, 9 and 9 and we were interested in bringing our bicycles he went out and bought three new bikes for the boys! We split time laying around the pool and investigating the local area and restaurants. We even chartered a fishing outing that took us 40 miles out into the gulf where we caught snapper, amberjack, grouper, grunts and hogfish. If you're looking for a great fishing outing get in touch with Mason at Royal Sea Excursions. We will certainly consider coming back next year at spring break! Thanks Ed.

Fantastic Stay!!!

The house, pool/hot tub, and surrounding area were fantastic!!! We enjoyed taking morning walks and checking out all the other homes. We were worried about the stairs and spiral staircase, due to our ages 60+. But, they never caused any problems. Restaurants and bars are all within 5 miles. Ed was available to talk when we needed any information. He is a great host.

Our stay at the Black Pearl was absolutely amazing. The home was clean and well stocked. The pool and hot tub were impeccable and fun to relax after a busy day. We rented a patio boat for a day and went out into the gulf which was tons of fun. Ed was more than welcoming and helpful if we had any questions. He even was able and willing to accommodate when our train was delayed for another day. We would definitely recommend this home and will return. A+++ Thanks Ed!

Great winter getaway

My husband and I stayed at this property for 6 weeks. We loved the house and all the different outdoor locations you can hang out depending on the weather. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals and the beds were comfortable. We liked sitting at the veranda and watching the fish jump in the canal. The jacuzzi was a big plus, since it wasn't necessarily pool weather in February. We also liked having the Weeki Wachee Preserve so close by to take bike rides and walks. The only complaint we have is that there was a lot of construction noise due to one neighbor renovating his house and the other installing an inground pool, but that is not something the owner was in control of. Ed was super responsive when we had questions, always got back to us right away and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.

Fantastic stay - highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my weeklong stay at the Black Pearl. The location was great - peaceful and scenic by the water but at the same time conveniently close to restaurants and stores. I don't love lots of stairs, but I did not find any of the stairs at this home to be a problem. Even the spiral staircase to the upstairs bedrooms felt safe and easy to navigate, and bringing luggage up those stairs wasn't as challenging as I was afraid it would be. The beds were comfortable, and the house was equipped with anything you might want - from cookware to a propane grill to ceiling fans. I rented a pontoon boat for the day nearby and was able to easily dock at the house for snack and bathroom breaks. I saw so many amazing birds from the balcony - cranes, herons, pelicans - don't forget your field guide and binoculars!

Great place for some fishing ,good food and relaxing

We rented this vacation home to fly in and relax a little bit before the Christmas and do some light fishing of the dock . House was great as advertised no surprises Pool and hot tub was awesome and most importantly entire pool area is screened in so bugs can't get in and that was our #1 criterio when we were looking for a rental house. No issues with neighborhood at all Fishing ,caught some catfish, searobin ,eel, blue crab and etc. Fished with fishing rods we flew in with and used shrimp as a bait from local bait show (walking distance,in the convenience store) There is some great sea food in the local restaurants we're you can bike in 5mins or walk in 8. 2 kayaks are provided ,didn't use them ,It was 3 of us and one would fo had to stay on shore . Beaches,never made it to the beach becouse it wasn't a beach weater and this trip wasn't about beach , but been in the area before and know that beaches are ok . Thanks for having us Ed!

Hurricane didn’t stop us!

Our trip was definitely dampened by Hurricane Idalia! But Ed came through for us and we had an amazing time at his house! We had to wait out the storm in Georgia so we missed the first two nights at the house. Ed was so easy to work with and kept in constant communication about the weather conditions. He immediately refunded those two nights since it wasn’t safe for us to be in the area. The area was horribly affected but Ed’s house was built high enough and the pool survived too. The house is beautiful, well stocked, has all the amenities and was exactly what we were looking for. The pool and spa were amazing. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable and the house is just as pictured. Ed responded immediately to all of our concerns. If it weren’t for our constant communication, we may have cancelled the trip with the storm coming. But we knew what was going on through it all. He even bought a crockpot when I asked him ahead of time if they have one! We will definitely stay there again!
