"Right on the river, great view. Convenient to the city, about 20 minutes. Front porch(first impression) needs some work…. Lots of empty boxes, used AC filters, and ant bait sprinkled everywhere. Door hinges also broken. An easy cleanup to prevent a bad first impression. Comfy beds, clean interior rooms. Just needs some TLC on the outside. Would stay there again though. "

"This space really exceeded expectations. It was much larger than I was expecting and was situated in a quiet neighborhood near downtown. Gaining access to the home was easy and communicated well by the host. I would certainly consider rebooking this space on a return visit to Madison."

"Stayed 7 nights. Repeat Madison visitors for 30+ years. Loved the location in Historic District. Walking distance to almost everything. Very old and marginally clean. I’m picky. High sided claw foot tub with too small shower curtain was dangerous to enter and exit. It’s the only tub/shower in this rental. It was dirty. Needs safety bars on wall and maybe a step-stool. Needs hooks near sink for hand towels. Cleaners left no hand towels and only 2 bath towels out and we had to hunt them down....

"Quick getaway for 4 sisters (from Cincinnati) and the home was the perfect setting! So clean and newly renovated- great soothing color scheme and decorations makes it feel like you’re at home. Very well stocked (coffee and toiletries) and lots of info on Madison with things to do. Hosts are very responsive. Nice location - walkable to town and to river walk - with outdoor seating on front and back porches. Definitely will visit again! "

Nulu is also just around the corner and offers several great places to eat and shop. This is a hidden gem. I would highly recommend staying here. "
