Sierra de la Laguna Vacation Packages

It was beautiful! The ocean is right out the giant patio. Super comfy beds. The office personnel and housekeepers were great! The pool was missing a few tiles but was super clean and had the best view for watching surfers. The restaurant in the hotel and nearby were really good. We will definitely go back!

Golfers - don' be fooled by the Expedia listing that says it's a 7 minute walk to the Cabo del Sol golf course. Technically, you could probably reach the course by foot in 7 minutes. To do that, you would have to climb a fence and cross a construction zone just to reach one of the outer holes on the course. If you want to actually get to the clubhouse, it's about a 10-15 minute taxi/Uber ride. Also, the chip and putt course located on the property looks very nice, but is not included in the all-inclusive package. It's an extra $50 per play.

You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite with ocean view. Unfortunately there’s construction blocking the gorgeous view. It can initially be seen in their lobby. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony and plunge pool. The staff was accommodating enough to change our rooms but it was still the same view. Their rooftop pool will eventually have a building blocking their view depending on how high it’ll get built. Aside from that, the resort is very nice and the staff are very friendly!
