Decorated in a welcoming mountain style with lots of bear accents, it had everything we needed. My husband and I had a relaxing visit and plan to return. « My son, daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights while we toured App State for my son. This place was perfect! It's in an idyllic setting at the "Top of Boone" - literally, it didn't feel like we could get much higher. The cabin was clean, had all the amenities you'd need for stay away from home, and it was convenient to downtown Boone and campus. It's not walkable to King Street, due to the elevation and winding mountain roads, but it's still very close! Amazing view of the Blue Ridge...

« We had a great stay! Back porch overlooking the lake was our go to spot for relaxing in the shade. Just a few minutes away from the Mercantile for breakfast and Villa Nova winery for a great evening for live music and enjoying the views. « What a “Million” dollar view this place has! My wife and I usually do a lot of hiking any cabin we go to but, this place felt magical. « We live on the NC Coast and travel to the Boone area several times a year. We have stayed at many homes and this one was at the top of the list. Its central location to Boone, Bowing Rock and Banner Elk was ideal. The home was very comfortable with its mountain decor and updated kitchen. Can't wait to return! »

« Even though the weather wasn’t great, the cabin was clean and cozy. Screened in porch was so nice to just sit, read and enjoy the rain. We were hoping to get to use the fire pit outside but winds prevented that. Will keep this on our list of places to stay in the future. »
