"Nice, clean property staffed by courteous professionals."

"Leisha's place was the perfect spot for a solo retreat after a long year of work and life demands. The creek's "song" is so present and clean there, and I was refreshed!! Everything one could expect to need was provided, plus extra. (I bought some wood and left it there even though they have a covered pile). I made a fire by the creek, floated in the creek, listened to and played music on the porch with some coffee, or a glass of wine, and cooked a couple of meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoyed going up and down the many steps to get to the creek and back! Bed was not bad at all but would bring my pillows as a personal preference. The store is ten minutes away. And I was glad that the property was easily accessible with my regular sedan. Had I stayed more than a day, I surely would have checked out the area attractions, but like I said this was a quiet getaway and the cabin was all I needed. I could have been entertained for days with the ample book and video collections. Wifi was nonstop and phone worked great, too. I could see some close friends or a small family having a wonderful stay just relaxing and being together here. I'll make more time for my next visit and bring the hubs, he'll love it. "This was an old, but renovated, motel. Very clean room including clean beds/sheets, spotless bathroom, working fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. Beds very comfortable. The sink (vanity) was in the bedroom (like we've encountered in Europe), and its positioning in the room was slightly inconvenient, but it was clean and the light was good. No problem for us. I'd definitely recommend the place, but don't expect a high end Sheraton or Hilton."

"Room is small. About 10 feet x 30 feet with a king sized bed. Loaded with nice amenities. Eclectic deco. Fire pits and comfy registration area. Excellent, cordial service. "

"Even though some of the comments weren’t positive we thought we would try it. I felt it was very pretty and the beds were comfortable. The s’mores by the fire was fun and management kept replenishing supplies and kept the fire going. The desk was very nice. We will stay here again if we are in the area!"

"We enjoyed the home - it had several nice aspects. Very clean, good kitchen, the king bed was super-comfortable, and the many options in lighting and ceiling fans was appreciated. The screened porch overlooking the forest with the sound of the river in the background was wonderful – well furnished with rockers, tables and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals, without bugs! The creek access is down a steep grade through the trees, with flights of wooden steps, but neither up nor down was more than any relatively fit adult can handle. The creek bank was fairly level, with soft moss and grass – perfect spot for relaxing in a camping chair or putting your feet in the water. Home needs more trash baskets; facial tissues would be nice; bath soap is NOT provided. Some information about local attractions, hikes, restaurants, etc. in a guest packet would br helpful and hospitable. VERY close to road and neighbors. As stated in the description, there is NO cell service, don't bother trying. Wi-fi is fine in the house, but doesn't even reach driveway or fire pit. Overall, a comfortable home and a good deal. Would likely return."
