"Great location, convenient parking (but don't rent a large SUV). Small complaints about the cleanling from the previous tenant. Very good communication all the way from Trip2Portugal, and quick answers on Whatsapp while on Madeira. Amazing views from the balcony, but bear in mind that it is also very windy due to the very open location without and protection from other buildings."
"The apartment was in a very convenient location, clean and had many small extras that made our stay very comfortable. The kitchen had a dishwasher with pods and the host was very accessible at the beginning for any questions."

Wonderful! The room is very spacious (especially for European standards), clean and comfortable! Bathroom was huge and shower was great. Loved the sauna/spa pool amenities already included with the room fees - those were a great treat after a long day of hiking. The hotel is spotless and has a very modern design. Breakfast was good and convenient to have on-site. Loved the location as well (not as busy as main areas in Funchal) but walking distance to a mall, restaurants and the waterfront....

Lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms and gorgeous views on the ocean. Beautiful gardens and nice breakfast buffet. Only issue I had was breakfast staff start cleaning up by 10am and start banging plates and calling to each other over patrons heads. The head waiter in his suit was barking out orders to a cleanup staff member over my head 2 tables down. And then once they seat you and get you a coffee, they are gone. Not once for 3 breakfasts , did I get asked what I wanted from the actual hot...

We loved the location, little bit outside of downtown, but it's a nice walk! Immediate area has handy conveniece stores, snacks, wine, etc! Also lots of restaurants nearby and a great little english pub. Live music in a few places. The resort felt huge! Multiple pools, small gym, billiard table, nice areas to walk/jog. Didnt each much in the hotel, but food we had was great! Basillico Restauant at south side of hotel was phenomenal! Get the cab from airport arranged by the hotel , see your name...

The hotel is centrally located in Funchal close to the mall, grocery store and the boardwalk.
The kitchen is great with a full fridge to store snacks and water.
The restaurant downstairs offer a fantastic lunch for great price of 12 euro.
The included breakfast is awesome with a great al la carte section breads, cheese and fruit.
All staff was great but Kaitalin was fabulous and created a beautiful driving tour for us along the coastline!

stunning property, great rooms/beds. the only thing I would change is replacing the bathtubs with walk in showers. the restaurants on resort are the best in the area, if I was to stay again I would likely do half or full board instead of just breakfast

For our first trip to Madeira, the Pestana Promenade Hotel and Resort was perfect for our needs. Close to a lot of amenities, beautiful views of the sea and coast. We were treated like royalty by the front desk staff and the rest of the hotel staff - from the cleaning ladies to the buffet servers and poolside assistants.
The Turkish bath and saunas were to die for. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the water aerobics classes done in the indoor pool.

By far our favourite hotel on this trip. We stayed for a week and did not want to leave. Excellent amenities including jacuzzi, sauna, gym, and pool, all at no extra charge. Several dining room options (albeit expensive). Front desk staff were very knowledgeable and helpful (shoutout to Daniel who was very kind to us!). The breakfast selection was excellent.
