Quality towels are provided, which in my experience, is not always the case in holiday rentals. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering with quality appliances, though we tend to eat out. Location was perfect, closer to the “old town” Funchal than most of the hotels, about a 20 min walk to the center, but great area near a lot. Overall I felt very safe, only thing to note is that there is no one at the front desk between midnight and 7am, but you will need your key card to get into the building...

"Well situated in Funchal. We found it a straightforward walk into the city centre and near to the airport bus stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Small swimming pool on roof which helped cooling off after our levada walks. "

The breakfast buffet excellent lots of choice every day fully stocked the outside pool area very nice indoor pool was ok looking a little sad needs a bit of refresh however my son loved it. "We stayed on the second floor. Nice apartment with nice view and underground garage (if you rent a car). Little bit noisy during the day and early evening but quiet after midnight. Positioned about 2 km from old town center but there are plenty of shops, restaurants etc. nearby. The Lido swimming pool complex is about 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is cleaned once a week, this should be done minimum twice a week, since you get only 5 towels when arrive, and there is no place to dry your wet...
