"A charming hotel, very convenient to all that Santa Fe has to offer. The hotel has character and fits perfectly with the Santa Fe experience. Room was small, however it had all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfotable, and the shower was great (water pressure and temperature. In reality, we did not spend too much time in our room, and the valet parking, lobby and porch more than made up for the smaller room size. We arrived very late and Gabriel was waiting for us, was very helpful settling us in, taking care of parking the car. He is a gem. A champagne bottle was sent to our room as a birthday present. "The good: my room was clean, modern, and stylish. I loved the gated parking and being able to park right in front of my door. The king bed was very comfortable. I appreciated having a split unit for climate control. The bar and restaurant are great (although everything is very expensive). No coffee maker in the room, but there’s coffee and free breakfast in the restaurant from 7-10 am. The bad: There were only two hangers in the room. One of the two luggage racks was broken. There were very few places to put anything; no desk or table, and just a couple of shelves under the window. The “tree stump” bedside tables are cute but tiny and not very practical. With my charger and a water bottle it was pretty much full. And there’s very little counter space for toiletries in the bathroom, although there is a shelf above the toilet. If I had been here with my husband, we’d have been struggling to find places to put our stuff; there was barely room for just mine. On top of that, the WiFi was slow, and trying to watch anything on the TV required so much buffering that I gave up. And if there’s a way to watch live network TV or sports, I couldn’t find it. Overall this is a very cute place, but it could be even better."
