"The property was perfect for our needs. I gave it four stars for some minor reasons. 1). The upstairs 1/2 bath toilet was basically for #1’s only. There was a sign stating it clogs easily, so no #2’s. 2). Hot water was HOT(once it came in), but it took approximately 5-6 mins before the hot water would flow to the showers. "Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The staff was communicative before we even arrived. To the delight of our 4 travelers (girls trip!) They accommodated our request for adjoining rooms! We had beautiful mountain views, thoughtful amenities, (robes were so great that we bought them!). The valet team was AMAZINGLY friendly and kind, best of any hotel I have ever stayed at and I have traveled the world. Front desk team was patient and helpful. The restaurant was lovely. Property is beautiful and cozy. Location is frankly perfect. I return to Santa Fe regularly and usually stay at La Fonda which is also lovely, however I have a new favorite due to the overall personal attention and value. The pool area is gorgeous as well. Walkable to everything. We loved the 4th floor Sunset Terrace area too! Beautiful sunset spot. Loved this hotel and will be back soon!"

"Classic property right off the plaza. A little confusing navigating given the renovations, but the atmosphere and history was comfortable. Our room was spacious and the fitness center, while a bit small for the size of the property, well outfitted including a rower.
