"Clean, spacious, and beautiful property. The staff was so helpful! The gardens around the hotel were beautiful and the flowers were blooming which added a wonderful smell to the air. The view was great and it was nice to spend time by the pool and in the hot tub. The rooms were large and amenities enjoyable. Overall the stay was lovely and a great solo spot to travel to. The hotel was also so close to the old town, Farmers market, and lots of great shops. Highly recommend staying here and I will be back!"

"We reserved this property because of the 9.2 rating on Expedia. We don’t mind historic properties and enjoyed the memorabilia throughout but the room and especially the bathroom did not live up to the description of “deluxe king”. The bathroom was so small you could sit on the toilet and wash your hands in the sink at the same time. The fan for the air/heat turned on and off every few minutes making sound sleep impossible. Our waitress for dinner was a bright spot but the food was disappointing. I am a very positive person but can’t give this experience an overall thumbs up."
