The staff in this hotel is absolutely amazing. They were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The hotel is beautiful and super clean and it’s very conveniently located. We loved having an open bar 24/7! We will certainly book here again.

Understanding that El Colonial is a 200 year old property, a new facility wasn’t my focus. However, I was amazed at the level of customer service, the location, comfort, and staff attentiveness. Before arriving I received an outreach from the staff awaiting my arrival. Luis, such an amazing guy, took our bags to our room, provided us drinks, and each time we came in and out of the hotel we were greeted and asked if we needed anything. I’ve NEVER experienced this anywhere and I travel the world frequently. Their service supersedes the lack of modern aesthetic. I’d stay here over and over again in OSJ. Perfect location!
