"The Whispering Hillside property was lovely, clean, and offered at a very fair price. The house itself was great, and I really enjoyed the hot tub during the first part of my stay.However, I did run into a major issue when the pipes froze, leaving the house without water. While this was definitely a downside for a short trip, I can’t say enough about the host, Karen. She was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the ordeal.To make things right, she provided another one of her properties for me to move to and even refunded me for a night. The only real "con" was losing a full day of my vacation to pack up, drive an hour to the new location, and unpack again.Despite the bad luck with the weather, Karen’s professionalism saved the trip. I would definitely use her properties again and recommend them to others!"

"Lovely cabin. Amenities were very good, well stocked kitchen too. The only reason not to give 5 stars was that the cabin could have been cleaner when we arrived. There was lots of hair on the box spring in the main bedroom and floors needed sweeping. Otherwise great and we would rent this again. "

"Old wood paneling, electric range old and not very clean, panel in bedroom all buckled, flies everywhere, pictures of place a little deceiving and small. Place was hard to find and very secluded but the view was beautiful. 500 for 2 night stay and only one full day there was overpriced. "
