"This is one of the best holiday apartments that we have stayed in. It is spacious, very comfortable and extremely well-equipped. The south-facing roof terrace, with its views towards the Bodetal, is a splendid area in which to sit for meals, an early-evening drink, or merely to relax and muse. Every possible need has been considered and met, and there is a very good set of information about the area, including maps. Herr and Frau John are excellent hosts: helpful and informative, but not...

"We loved staying here. The space was very comfortable, private, and the courtyard was a great spot to chill at the end of each day. The building is listed in the Fachwerk Museum in Quedlinburg (worth visiting if you want to understand how such places were built historically) as having been constructed in 1485! The hosts (who live in the building) were very kind and communicative."

"We had a wonderful stay in Quedlinburg with Mrs Buchman who most generously shared her garden, her time and her advice. Having internet access was great, beds were warm and comfy, kitchen well equipped and an easy walk to supermarket (Lidl). Quick walk to train station, easy and pleasant stroll in to the old town."

"Prima locatie, ruime woning met ruime keuken, kamer, slaapkamer en badkamer. Inrichting compleet. Inrichting van de woning is enigzins oubollig maar volledig en netjes afgewerkt. Volop wandel mogelijkheden en leuke plaatsen in de omgeving. In het dorp (70 inwoners) zijn geen winkels en bakker. Dichtbij zijnde winkel op ca. 9 km afstand (grote Norma winkel)."

"Alles super, nette Vermieterin mit lieben Hund (beide sehr kinderfreundlich). Bushaltestelle und Einkaufsmöglichkeit vor der Tür. Ein Wildtierpark mit Spielmöglichkeiten gleich um die Ecke. Mit dem Bus erreicht man die Innenstadt in ein paar Minuten, Anbindungen sind sehr gut."

"Mag in den 70er / 80er Jahren des letzten Jahrtausends, bei wildem Schneetreiben, seinen Scharm gehabt haben. Heute ist es runtergekommen, dreckig und einfach nur unatraktiv. Aufhängung der Dusche funktionierte nicht mehr. In den Schränken unabgewaschenes Geschirr mit Essensresten. Der Kühlschrank roch erbärmlich. Auf dem Wohnzimmertisch lag noch die Pilzinfektionscreme wahrscheilich der Vormieter. Einfach nur ekelhaft und das Geld nicht wert."

"We, my wife and our two little kids, 5 and 8, stayed for 3 nights at the Himmlischer Hof in Quedlinburg and we truly had the most wonderful time. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a medieval house, more than 500 years old. It is so beautifully decorated and the owners did such an amazing job renovating it with so much attention to detail that we felt at home right away. On top of that some generous welcome goodies were awaiting us when we arrived. The location couldn't be any better....
