The bath room was wonderful, big enough for two person and separated toilet space and modern shower booth. I really enjoyed staying with nespresso and well equipped kitchenette including good quality of utensils. I had free breakfast packaged foods, which was great, delivered to my room early morning. The hotel interior was super modern and unique.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Monsieur Jean. Our experience was top notch from beginning to end. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the valet service. They always made sure our stay was excellent. The property is very clean, modern and elegant. It offers an ideal location, close to many dining options and allowing you to walk around Old Quebec. The valet parking was a big asset since parking is limited around Old Quebec. If you don’t want to use their valet parking there’s still a parking garage right next to the hotel. We also loved the small kitchen within the room. It was really useful, especially when staying with two small children. Overall, this is an excellent option to stay right in the heart of Old Quebec. Highly recommended!

We stayed in a room with a patio & fire pit it was fantastic. The room itself was nicely appointed and all details in the kitchenette were well thought out. We enjoyed the staff and the location was perfect.

We had a bumpy check-in; our keys did not work, the receptionist reprogrammed the keys, escorted us to the room, the keys still didn’t work, so the receptionist used the master key and walked in on a guest already in the room. We were told they are having issues with the computer. We found this concerning for privacy and security. Check in ultimately took 30 minutes after a long trip in and we were put on a lower floor which was effectively street level. Construction vehicles started making noise early in the morning and there were no curtains over the toilet - not ideal for glass enclosed fishbowl style room. We asked for a manager to call us, which never happened. Otherwise, hotel was clean, a few years old, well kept, centrally located.

WOW! What a pleasant surprise. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Monsieur Jean. It started when we checked-in (around midnight) and were greeted by Ms.Laurence, who was so nice and helpful to us, a real gem. The Monsieur Jean is a beautiful hotel, the room was modern and impeccable. All through our 9 days stay, everyone was so kind and helpful, like Ms. Magali who was always pleasant. Also, the middle aged Valet was very pleasant and very helpful with directions to where we wanted to go. This is the best hotel we have stayed at in a very long time. When we return to Quebec city, we surely will stay at Monsieur Jean.
