"We enjoyed the view, and the room was very nice. One should be aware the sea view rooms can potentially be a bit loud due to all the pedestrian traffic along the sea wall. Not bad with door closed but if you want it open, it’s loud especially over a weekend. Didn’t take away from the overall experience. Elements bar was great! Great service and great food. Breakfast was also great! We enjoyed our stay, thank you!"

"Our stay in Palazzo Salgar was nice, good for the price we paid, it was $168 CAD for the night. We were greeted with very friendly reception, and given a map and info about what to do in the area. Our room was clean, and was provided multiple soaps, vanity sets and shower caps. The property is well maintained, however the area surrounding the hotel is very run down with a lot of abandoned buildings and shops. "The staff was terrific. Very helpful and responsive. The hotel is a bit challenging to find as no cars are allowed on it's little cobblestone alleyway. Arriving in that area in Naples, with wall to wall graffiti everywhere is a bit disconcerting, especially at 7am when the streets are pretty deserted. However, by mid morning everything was bustling and we had a wonderful day, taking lots of suggestions from the hotel staff. "

"Seventh floor room with no elevator. You have to carry your baggage up 130 steps similar to a medieval castle. The room is fine but the trip up is challenging. Fortunately my wife wasn’t with me or I would have had to forfeit the rent and found a real hotel. If you like climbing this is the place for you."
